Kazakhstan’s women’s handball team took third place at the Asian Championship, Olympic.kz reported.
The continental championship in handball among women ended in Jordan.
Kazakhstan’s team competed for the bronze medal against Iran. The match ended with a score of 38:33 in favor of Kazakh athletes.
It should be noted that in the semifinals of the Asian Championship team of Kazakhstan lost to Japan with a score of 24:38, and Iran – South Korea with a score of 24:38.
“Gold” of the Asian Championship went to the team of South Korea. The silver medal was awarded to the team of Japan.
