Kazakhstan’s Handball Team Takes Sixth Place at the U-20 Asian Championship

The 15th U-20 Women’s Asian Handball Championship has concluded in Beirut, Lebanon, reports Olympic.kz.

In the match for fifth place, Kazakhstan faced the team from Taipei. The regular time ended in a 30:30 draw, and the winner was decided in a penalty shootout, where Taipei emerged victorious.

The final score was 33:34. As a result, Kazakhstan finished in sixth place in the championship.

The continental championship title was claimed by South Korea, while Japan secured the silver medal. China rounded out the top three.
