The Asian Championship Has Started!

The Kazakhstan women’s youth team has arrived in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. Today marks the first matchday of the 18th Asian Women’s Youth (U19) Handball Championship. The tournament takes place from August 20 to August 29, 2025, at the Alpomish Ice Palace arena.
This championship is not only a continental competition but also serves as a qualification for the 2026 World Championship (U20). The top four teams will earn tickets to the global tournament.
Groups:
• Group A: Uzbekistan, China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong–China, India
• Group B: Korea, Japan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan
