📍 Almaty, October 6
The pre-competition training of the Kazakhstan Youth National Women’s Team has officially started at the “Champions” Sports Complex!
The training camp is being held as part of the preparation for the Youth Asian Games, which will take place from October 20 to 31, 2025, in the Kingdom of Bahrain (Manama).
Olga Yuryevna Egunnova has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Kazakhstan Youth Women’s Handball Team.
The team includes 20 athletes from various regions of the country — Aktobe, Pavlodar, Karagandy, Kyzylorda, Kostanay, Almaty regions, as well as the cities of Astana and Shymkent.
However, due to limited conditions and the accreditation requirements of the National Olympic Committee, only 16 athletes will travel to Bahrain to represent Kazakhstan at the Youth Asian Games on the international stage.
Leading specialists have been actively involved in the preparation of both the girls’ and boys’ national teams.
The training process of the Kazakhstan Youth Men’s Team is led by Nikita Sergeyevich Efimov, while TMC curators — M.Ya. Narmatov and V.Ch. Kim — provide methodological and organizational support in the preparation of both teams.
The President of the Kazakhstan Association of Handball Sports Federations, Gulnara Ismagulovna Turlykhanova, personally arrived to support the young athletes and the coaching staff. She offered guidance, expressed her support, and wished the players confidence, team spirit, and determination to win.
The training process is held in an intensive and highly focused environment. The players demonstrate a high level of preparation, full concentration, and strong commitment to fulfilling the tasks set by the President of KAHF for the team and coaching staff.
The Kazakhstan Youth National Team is motivated and ready to defend the honor of the country at the Youth Asian Games 2025!
