Manager of the National Handball Federation Completed Training Under the IOC “Olympic Solidarity” Program

On June 7, training under the International Olympic Committee’s “Olympic Solidarity – Scholarship for Coaches” program concluded at the University of Physical Education in Budapest, Hungary. From Kazakhstan, this scholarship was awarded to Dinara Turlykhanova, the manager of the National Handball Federation. After completing the course, our compatriot shared her thoughts on the importance of the program and her experiences with Olympic.kz.

“My first international coaching courses have come to an end. I now realize that these three months have flown by very quickly and productively, thanks to the coaches in our group. The scholarship recipients came from 21 countries and represented various sports,” said Dinara.

According to the Kazakhstani representative, the opportunities provided for students were excellent.

“The teaching method was very effective. I would like to express my gratitude to the International Olympic Committee and the ‘Olympic Solidarity’ program for organizing such courses, as well as to our NOC and the Kazakhstan Handball Federation for giving me the chance to improve my qualifications.”

“The new knowledge I have gained will definitely be shared with our coaches upon my return to Kazakhstan, and I will apply it to the development of sports in our country,” Turlykhanova promised.

“Sports are a way of life. Thanks to sports and knowledge in this field, we develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, while also getting to know and communicate with people from other countries and cultures, which is crucial for growth. It is essential to invest in the future of the country, our athletes, and our coaches.”

It should be noted that previously, women’s boxing coach Yeldos Saidalin from Kazakhstan also participated in the ICECP coaching courses at a university in the United States. Participation in this program is made possible through the IOC’s “Olympic Solidarity” initiative.
