Kazakhstan’s Handball Players Defeated in the First Match of the 2019 Asian Championship

On August 21, the 8th U-18 Women’s Asian Handball Championship kicked off in Jaipur, India. According to Olympic.kz, on the second day of competition, the Kazakhstani handball players lost to China.

In their opening match, our girls faced tough opponents – the Chinese national team. The game ended with a score of 25:32 in favor of China.

Another match is set to take place today, where Kazakhstan’s team will compete against Nepal.

Tomorrow, as part of the preliminary round, Kazakhstan will face the Indian national team.

This year, Kazakhstan is placed in Group B alongside India, China, Mongolia, and Nepal.

The Women’s Youth Asian Handball Championship is an official tournament for U-18 national teams, organized under the Asian Handball Federation. Held every two years, the competition determines the Asian champions and also serves as a qualifying tournament for the IHF Women’s Youth World Championship.
